The Fight Club is the name of the new film by the famous American producer David Fincher who became famous for such bestsellers as Seven, The Game and Alien 3.
Bred Pitt plaid the main role of absolutely inimitably. His skill to re-incarnate does not require any confirmation.
Edward Norton plays the role of an ordinary clerk working in an ordinary American company.
Norton�s hero becomes mad because of commonness of his life and begins to visit clubs, members of which are deadly ill people with cancer, tuberculosis, etc.
Different prophylactic courses become his hobby, though they fail to save his soul from the feeling of his uselessness. Norton�s life changes greatly, when he meets Tyler Durden (Bred Pitt).
At first, the two young people are absolutely different. Durden is insolent, self-confident, energetic and sexual guy. Norton�s hero is dull, shy and expressionless. However, they supplement each other. It is difficult to characterize the film, as it is full of surprises and discoveries.
The music by The Dust Brothers, the name of whose song is given in the title, imparts the film with a peculiar color.
Dizzy turns of the plot will keep you tensed any moment. Constantly changing the genre of the film, the producer attracts attention of the audience.

The famous heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson discharged in Maryland. He spent 3 months in prison. That was only one-third of the sentenced imprisonment for his attack to two drivers after a small accident. The commission on pre-term discharge considered requests of the boxer�s advocate and voted for reduction of the imprisonment term. Tyson leaving the prison was in a high spirits, but did not say a word to reporters. Tyson left the cell only in some hours after the Indiana lawyers had announced that the boxer� imprisonment ended. He was sentenced for the violation happened in 1992. But there are still some restrictions with respect to the former world champion. So, at least twice a week representatives of the Maryland authorities will visit him without prior notification to take his urine analysis. Besides, before Tyson leaves the state he has to receive a special permission.

Glorious anniversary
The international scientific conference devoted to the topic �The 700th anniversary of the Osman Empire� was held in the big hall of the Scientists� House of the National Academy of Sciences. The conference was organized by the Turkish Ataturk�s Society of Culture, Language and History, the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and the Suleimenov Institute of Orient Studies.
The Academician-secretary of the social & the Arts department Amanzhol Koshanov opened the conference with his opening address. The Turkish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Chilar Aldemir also made a speech.
Exhibition of the father and the daughter
In the water-color hall of the Kasteev State Fine Arts Museum the exhibition of Elizabeth and Nikolai Gazeev is still held. Nokolai Gazeev is a landscape painter. His 12-years-old daughter also became a painter. Now Elizabeth studies at the St. Petersburg Classic Gymnasium in the sixth class. Among numerous paintings by the Gazeevs we may emphasize �Road in the forest�, �Orchard�, �Sewing�, �Tracery�, �Egypt�, �Subjects�, �Brook�, �The river Fontanka�, etc.
Archivists� seminar
The three-day educational seminar �Work with sources of acquisition according to provisions of the Law �On national spiritual fund and archives� was held in the Central State Archives of Kazakhstan.
The objective of the seminar is to teach personnel of the state archive service theoretical principles of work with state structures, non-state economic organizations, and public unions, according to the current law basis and to use this knowledge practically.
The seminar is supposed to determine archives according to the archive legislation, and to study modern archive criteria.
Heart, you do not wish to rest�
The words from Isaac Dunaevsky to the film �Merry guys� became the name of the retro concert organized by the staff of the Abai State Academician Opera & Ballet Theatre. The concert was held in the Kazconcert hall.
Russia celebrated the 100th anniversary of the outstanding composer Isaac Dunaevsky. Our musical culture, art and society know his musical compositions and also celebrated the anniversary.
At the concert such famous compositions as �Everything around became blue and green�, �How many good girls�, �Moon waltz�, �Song about the captain�, etc.

HSBC Bank Kazakhstan became one of the main sponsors of the special course on the environmental protection, which functions at the Kazakh State Academy of Architecture and Construction. Irina Krylova became the first scholar of the HSBC Bank.
The master course of the environmental protection was established in November 1996 by His Majesty the Prince of Wales Charles. This multi-subjects program helps students to study basic principles of chemistry and biology, pure air technology, purification of sewage, the economy of nature utilization and applied ecology.
HSBC was the first financial company that granted scholarship for students studying this course. Explaining why HSBC became a sponsor of his program, the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Kazakhstan Brampton Mundy said: �The HSBC Group recognizes that sound business management must take into account the effect of its business on the environment and we support practical measures to help in protecting and improving the environment. We consider that economic growth and a healthy environment are inextricably linked and we see our participation in this program as having an important role in improving the prospects for successful environmental management in Kazakhstan in the future.�
